Having fun is a big part of what being a Big Sister is all about.  Yet, we have a secret at Big Sisters.  We know that every time a Little Sister gets together with her Big, she is learning how to make decisions and negotiate agreement, take small risks and build trust… With her Big Sister, a Little expands her world by visiting new places, tasting different food and meeting new people… through a special friendship with her Big Sister, a Little learns that girls have a place and a voice in the world.

Big Sisters are, foremost, friends to children.  They share everyday activities, expand horizons and experience the joy in even the simplest events.  Within those little moments lies the big magic that a Big Sister brings to the life of a young girl!
