You can be a vital part of our organization and help us achieve our mission. It takes the hearts and hands of many caring individuals to make a real difference in the lives of Rhode Island girls at risk. Joining a committee is a wonderful way to get involved. It is also a great way for a potential board member to get a feel for the agency's work and needs. Committees usually meet monthly, depending upon board or agency initiatives, activities or events. Consider joining one of the following committees:

• Abracadabra Ball (Gala) Event Committee
  Our signature fundraising event celebrating our over-forty years of serving at-risk girls through our programs. The “black-tie optional” Gala takes place in the Spring and community support is crucial for its success.
• Marketing/Development Committee
  Use your professional expertise to help with recruitment, general agency PR, support for the annual fundraiser, and other specific events, activities and projects
• Big & Little Sister Activities Committee
  We have many annual events, such as Heart to Heart (our annual Big Sister recognition event) and our Graduation Party (aka End-of-School Year Party) for our Little Sisters as well as our annual Big and Little Sister Holiday Party.
